Re: Need SP2 Options

Then explain how SP-2 will be forced on any computer?
Where does any article state SP-2 will be installed whether the user wants
SP-2 or not?
What facts is the statement based on?
Or do you simply believe what suits your apparent bias against Microsoft?

Nothing is stopping you from installing or not installing the updates of
your choice.
If you or the company you are with have problems controlling what is
installed and when, that is strictly a problem of yours or your company, you
should fix your problem unique to your computers.
If your computers get SP-2, you or someone in control at the computers
location accepted SP-2 be installed.

The tool referenced in my first post is expiring 12 April.
That was the plan from nearly the beginning of SP-2.
There is nothing secret or hidden.
In fact that time is clearly on the page with the tool.
Once the tool expires if AU is disabled on your computer, you will not
notice anything, NOTHING.
If AU is enabled, SP-2 will be downloaded, other updated will be installed.
Even then the EULA must be accepted before SP-2 is installed.
Therefore it will take 2 actions to get SP-2 installed.
AU enabled.
Accepting the EULA.
This would be a non issue if Microsoft had not made the tool as many users
requested.
In which case all computers with AU enabled would have had SP-2 downloaded
months ago as, even then they needed to accept the EULA .

You say you quoted 2 articles yet you only posted one link??

Can you respond without insults?
Or do you find insults necessary instead of facts?
