Thanks for the response.

I run AVG anti-virus, with daily scans of my entire system, and also Spybot
Search And Destroy and Ad-Aware SE weekly. None of these find anything
untoward on my PC at all.

As a caveat to this, I WAS infected with the Dedier worm a while ago, but
this was cured by AVG on installation. Stinger reports no infections
either.
