Can't download any updates. I never get past 'Searching for updates' window,
and so never reach the point where i can select an update. Or have i
misunderstood? Also looked as Winupdate again. No instances of the error
8024001D in the log at all. After each failure keep seeing the same "Update
is missing metadata (00000B00), hr=8024001D" line in the log, as per my
original log sample below.
Also looking at suggestion from "Diva". Tried first step but no difference
so far.
NB: Been away for few days, hence delayed reply.
