1) are you using the Ethernet port at all? (that's the one that looks like a
telephone jack)
If not, then go into the BIOS and switch it off there (You may be using it
if you either have a network at home, or have your machine connected tot he
Internet by a router or switch)
2) While in the BIOS, check the Wake On..... settings, and disable them all
unless you actually want them
