auto update and non-admin login

I have the auto update set to download and install on my client machines.
These machines almost always have a non-admin user logged on. How can I get
the update to auto install even if there is a non-admin user logged in?

Logging out doesn’t help, the XPpro machines don’t want to install the
updates unless an administrator is logged in?
