No. Windows Update is for distributing patches not for arbitrary
repairing.
On a real XP CD you can find Arial fonts by searching with the filename
fragment arial and Courier fonts by searching with cour
Does your Restore CD not allow that? What is on it?
If it is .cab files you could expand them and see if what you need
is in one. Etc.
Do you have any space on your harddrive for another partition?
Or could you install another drive? Perhaps you could reinstall
your OEM system there, then copy whatever you need from it
or at least back up your current system somewhere else
and later restore files from it. Etc.

get more informed answers on an HP support forum.
