Interesting...I'm having a similar problem that just started this week. My
Automatic update shows that have only one update to be installed (KB890830).
When I reboot my system, it automatically starts installing an update and
when it reboots, a newer video driver for my Radeon 9800 Saphire card has
been installed that does not work as well as the original driver did. I then
have to rollback the driver to get the original back and reboot again. The
rollback works fine but when I reboot again, the same process happens. When I
check my automatic updates, I still see the original update still waiting to
be installed and that's all. How do I prevent a driver from installing on
reboot when it doesn't even show up in the Automatic updates list?
