IE 6 SP1

Hello All
I ran the windows update on my Win98 machine. After
installing IE6 SP1 on the machine it crahed the Windows
explorer. The left hand side of windows explorer is black
and i cannot access any folder from there. Secondly, i am
not able to type a query in search box using IE.
