Hi.
My updater just installed the malicious remover tool. However I have some
questions about it that I couldnt find answers to:
1. The EULA gave me a link to a page where there should have been
instructions as to how i can disable the report back to microsoft feature.
However on that page there was no such information. Under 'reporting back'
section (whatever it was called) there was only a list of information that
was being sent back to MS.
2. It is stated that the program does not install anything on the computer
and that it does not stay resident in memory. Also there does not seem to be
any way to launch it from my computer short of going to the link provided and
running it online. Whats the point of downloading it as an update then? Just
to create a trojan/worm-map for microsoft?
So could you please give me more information as to what this thing is
supposed to to in addition to being a removal tool one time when you download
it?
