In early December I ran live update. Everything installed fine and I
restarted. At this point the PC would not boot up, it just kept resorting to
a DOS page and then would try to restart and repeat the whole process. I was
able to do a complete system restore, but as soon as I ran windows updates, I
got the same issue. I was told at bestbuy (geeksquad) that this is a windows
XP sp2 registry problem. They want $60 to fix it. Does anyone know how to
fix this? Thanks for any help.
