Unfortunately, the Device Manager can only go so far with diagnosis - it may
simply be that your lens on the CD is dirty, so try using a CD cleaner disc
(from your local record shop or computer store) and see if that helps.

If Stinger found a lot of stuff - did you update your AV and find more? -
which viruses were present??
