There is no information in your post, so I don't know if I understand what
you're trying to say. But I may be having the same problem. When I click on
"scan for updates" it says it is checking for updates, 0% complete. And then
that's all that ever happens, no matter how long I stay on that page. "Done"
appears in the lower left corner of the screen, and my firewall indicates
there is no accessing of the microsoft site, though you can click on other
site links (such as the one to get to this discussion group), and things work
normally. So, don't know if this is your problem, or if this helps in any
way, but maybe this will begin a thread that will lead to a solution for both
of us.
