My problem here is that we are using a workstation lockdown program to
secure our envorinment (student labs). Auto-Update downloads it's patches
and has to wait for the configured time to apply them. If between the time
the patches are downloaded and the time they are to be applied, the
workstation is rebooted. All the downloads will be gone. What I need is a
true on-demand update that can be scripted for a maintenance window, and
requires no user input. At the end of the window the workstation is
rebooted, so this should satisfy those patches that require reboot to
complete.
