Every day for the past couple of weeks, when I start up my Win98 system, I
get a notification that I have critical updates available. They are always
the same two: "Cumulative Security Update for Outlook Express 6 - Service
Pack 1 (KB837009)", and "823559 Security Update for Microsoft Windows".
One respondent gave me a link on how to "fix" the problem, but the link
indicates the "fix" is for XP-Home & XP-Pro .... and I'm running Win98-SE.
I'm VERY hesitant about mucking about in the Registry if there is ANY
question that what I'm doing isn't precisely accurate.
Any further help would be greatly appreciated!
