After installing WinXP SP2 and the Symantec update for Norton AV which should
allow Windows Security Center to correctly report the status of Norton AV,
Windows Security Center reports that Norton AV is working but Norton AV
itself reports that it is NOT working.

Specifically, AutoProtect is reported as 'deactivated' - and it cannot be
reactivated!
Email Scan reports 'Error'.

I have tried the KnowledgeBase at Symantecs site but the problem persists.
Does anyone know a way to alleviate the problem? (preferably without
uninstalling SP2 but I will do so if that is the only solution)
