windows updates install

I recently got the downloads are ready for install
prompt. Well, I must have downloaded it at least 5 times
and the windows globe keeps popping up again and again.
I restarted my computer twice hoping the download would
take, still nothing. What am I doing wrong? Can anyone
help?
