How do I get the Windows Update icon to stop notifying me of SP2?

The auto icon popped up and thank GOD I said "custom install" so that I got a
chance to look at what it wanted to download. It was SP2 .. there is NO WAY
I'm getting this nightmare until the bugs are worked out. I have heard story
after story of people who couldn't operate software .. had to reformat their
computer, etc. after installing SP2 for XP Pro.

There is no way I want this, but apparently no way to tell auto update that
I don't want it and get the icon to go away. I'm concerned one of my kids
will click on it and install it while I'm out .. how can I get rid of this
thing?
