Hello,
i have the same problem like the other people. First off all, i installed
Windows XP Professional on a P4 with Asus P4P800S-E motherboard. When i go to
the Windows Update site, i get the error 0x80244010.
I tried to re-installed XP, but the same error occured.
Then i search in the newsgroups and tried some hints:
1. install framework v1.1 - nothing changed
2. delete the cache, cookies and data of the IE and try update again -
nothíng changed
3. registered all MSXML files - nothing chaged
4. uninstalled winxp hotfix 833978 - nothing changed
5. Cleaned out the Download folder's - nothing changed

I have installed my XP Professional software on this system for many times
and i had to register it via telephon, because MS said, that this copy was
used to often.
COULD THIS BE THE PROBLEM?????
Thanks for help
