Thanks, I appreciate your candor. I might wait a bit before I do it, but it
has been two days without much help so far.

I have to sympathize with those of you that work in the computer field. I
find it unbelievable that microsoft advises me to update my computer with
SP2 and upon doing so makes it non-functional. The support is abysmal and
every time I say to myself "I'll take my money elsewhere" I realize that
there is no "elsewhere". If I had to deal with this kind of product and
service all the time I would probably go postal (or medicate!).
And here I thought Dilbert was just a comic strip.
