Same problem here. I'm a bit hestitant to uninstall the framework since I
already have Visual Studio .NET installed also.

I did find this though. I downloaded the update seperately from win update
and tried to run it. I get this error:

Error 1305. Error reading from file:
C:\WINDOWS\Installer\160c5f.msi. Verify that the file
exists and that you can access it.

Well the file does exist. Not sure what's wrong with it.
