Hei
Dra meg baklengs inn i fuglekassa, en dansk invasjon :-)
Error 0x80242006 is
SUS_E_UH_INVALIDMETADATA
The caller passed an update with invalid metadata to the handler
That doesn't make me any more wise really, and there is no references
to be found at Microsoft or Google (Web nor Groups search).
I guess you are using Windows Update to install SP2, where in the
install process is this error showing up? Have the SP2 installation
actually started (you have accepted the SP2 EULA and so on)?
Du you find any clues or error messages in one of these log files
below ? Which of them contains the 0x80242006 error?
%windir%\WindowsUpdate.log
%windir%\Svcpack.log
%windir%\setupapi.log
(%windir% is typically C:\Windows)
