Wow, Shenan, that's quite a reply! I have done some of those things but to
have it all compiled in one concise post like that is great! I hope you
don't mind but I kept that list of yours and will share it with others who
run into problems. I had basically taken care of everything you listed
except the startup services and I have gone thru and disabled the
recommended ones. Unfortunately, I have seen little change in my bootup.
SIGH. When I say it is hanging, I mean it is HANGING, sometimes for up to an
hour or so. Again, only after installing SP2. I read that 10% of users will
have trouble with SP2 and I guess I am one of that illustrious group.
