I had massive problems with my WU also. This was another symptom. IE woudn't
load, Uninstall Programs only flashed and went away. I had to reload from CD.
ENUFF! Good luck! I'm not using WU anymore on my personal PC. I'm not
recommending it to anyone anymore either.
(Funny how it runs so fast with the basic s/w load vs. crawling with all the
WU fixes...)
