You could try resetting it...just turn it off, reboot, and turn it back on!
If it is still stuck, you should search the Microsoft Knowledge Base. This
could be a known issue XP has with your computer. If you can't find it in
the KB, you should go to Microsoft...At least let them know...
Also, you say you're on broadband, but the server you are trying to download
from could be bogged down by all the other computers trying to download.
Maybe just re-booting it and then letting it run all night (when servers are
likely to be less busy) may help.
