I was looking at KB 842242 (programs having issues with sp2), and it
looks like the new firewall and port blocking is the main culprit for
these programs not working. Is this the only problems to be expected
with sp2, or are there other issues why some programs won't work. (Our
organization is behind a hardware firewall, and has other security
monitoring going on, and I can not see why we would want the MS firewall
turned on.)

The product on the list I'm most concerned about is Exceed 7.0, 8.0
(Hummingbird), which we use extensively in our organization.

Just a user's question, not IT.
