Yet it is odd that the KB870669 patch provided by MS registers an
uninstall in Add/Remove Programs, but running this "uninstall" does
not change the Active X Compatibility registry setting to '0' as
explained in the KB870669 about how to manually "restore application
functionality".

What's up with that?
