I don't think this is a Windows Update problem. One of the other MS
newsgroups - particularly the very helpful virus discussion group - is more
likely to be able to help you: try

site and Yahoo mail site using IE and Netscape and but neither is able to
pull up the websites fully. I'm able to access some other webpages, but not
all. This all started 2 days ago. I know the Yahoo sites are working fine
because I can access them from my work pc, but not my home pc. I was able
to get to mcafee's website to do a free scan, but no viruses came up. I
can't get either browser to access trend micro's virus site. This is quite
puzzling and frustrating. My last windows update was 3 days ago. If anyone
knows of solution to this, pls advise. Thanks.

this virus going around that takes control of your browser and limits you to
what you can view on it. Or that it corrupts the site you use most often
and won't allow you to access it. I believe I have this issue and I need
someone's/anyone's help who has info. on how to fix this problem.

not able to access a site that I use everyday known as LiveJournal.com, and
I'm worried that other sites will follow. I have no more critical updates
to install and I'm at the end of my rope. Whenever I click on Yahoo!'s
homepage, click the hotlink to get to the e-mail sign in webpage, all it
does it load, and load, and load and gets no where.
