Windows Rollup 1 Update for XP

I had to reinstall windows xp and have updated all the critical updates except one. The Update Rollup 1 (KB826939) does not want to install. This file rolls into one a large number of previous updates in years past. Every couple of days I retry to install but, it only installs the other critical updates NEVER the rollup! Anybody have this problem or have any fresh ideas?
