OK, long story cut short:
Me: Fast pc, adsl connection, cd writer, don't speak much French.
Aunt: Very old, lives in middle of no-where in France, very slow dialup, cd
player in laptop running WinME. Going to visit in a few days.
Problem: I managed to get her to open the critical updates page (somehow in
English, even though the locale is set to FR - she's a bright woman!). But
she won't want all the updates to start speaking English to her.
So with regards to all the things I have to put on a CD and take to her,
what's the easiest way of downloading the French versions and installing
them in such a way that we don't need to dialup (or if we do, we don't need
to download much...average speed is about 24Kb IIRC!)
Many thanks.
