XP Windows Update Need Admin Rights Error

is the computer on a network or is it an individual
comptuer, if it is on the network then that would mean
that you are only logged on to the individual computers
administrator account not your networks. Also you should
check all the user account settings to make sure that
there are no other administrator accounts that could have
the rights
