Good work, Singh. Pepperoni, with everything, or just anchovies? ;)
An alternative method is to boot to safe mode and delete all WMP ,
WMP.dll files, boot back to Normal mode , run WMsetup.exe, download
the update from the Microsoft Download center, install it in Safe Mode.
Then order a pizza ....
