Patch Managment

Greetings,

I am seeking information on how to build a Patch Managment Solution.

I am a consultant who has an agent on all of my clients machines. Currently
the agent performs mundane tasks such as defrag and it sends me the event
logs daily for me to review. I am trying to find a way to check a remote
machine for any critical updates. Better yet, if I could push the updates to
the user, that would be even better.

If anyone had any experience in Patch Managment or if anyone knows how I can
retrieve information from a machine about what critical updates are needed
(and not by the win update site), I would appriciate your time.

Thanks in Advance
