Check your volume control and be sure all are up and none muted.
Also check to be sure the Digital setting is set as appropriate.
Install the latest Windows 98 sound drivers from the manufacturers web
site.
Also please do not use ALL CAPS in newsgroups.
ALL CAPS is considered shouting and rude.
