Thanks for that, it sort of answers my question. I will
repost on the appropriate group.

I have used a GPO to check SUS server for updates, but
download them from MS as we have multiple international
sites.

The issue is I do NOT want them to download or install
updates unless they are attached to the LAN. What would
happen if they were VPN'd in? Can you confirm this.
