I'm running Windows 2000.

I am experiencing trouble browsing -- with all browsers... IE 6, Mozilla, Netscape 4.7. The problem is it hangs and then shuts down the application. There are other symptoms too, but i think this is the root of it.

I think there's a windows update that could resolve my problem. But I can't get to it. The error number is 0x80070020 and the message reads:

Windows Update has encountered an error and cannot display the requested page.

any help?

thanks in advance.
