Same automatic update on a daily basis

I have my Windows XP set up for automatic updates. I have been getting update notifications for over two weeks and when I go into details before installing, it is for the same update. I've even shut down all my other programs before installing and then restarted afterward and I still get a notification for the same update the next day. On the Microsoft website, when I check history, I have installed that update almost daily since around April 20. Why do I keep getting update notifications for the same thing?
