Hi Lisa,

If the computer is part of a network please contact the system
administrator.

Some things to check:

Group Policy:

Click Start, and then click Run.

Type gpedit.msc, and then click OK.

In the Group Policy snap-in, expand the following:

User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components

Select "Windows Update"

Verify the "Remove access to use all Windows Update features" is disabled or
not configured

This can also happened if an installed program is intercepting the Windows
Update process.
