Somebody help. As an AOL user, I have always enjoyed the freedom of being able to work through IE
at the same time as AOL, especially for web design (because AOL has a stupid way of using windows
that will cause you to lose a lot of work). However, any time I open IE I see my regular welcome
screen for a few seconds and then my screen (including the tool bar) is totally obscured by a big
screen that says "Click the Enter Button", with a photo of an Enter Button. The only way to close
out of this is to Control Alt Delete. I'm afraid to click the Enter button in the event that
somebody is going to send me a virus. I installed the Windows Security Updates (had to go there
through AOL, and it kept trying to open IE on me, which obviously didn't work) and it hasn't helped.
I ran Spyware software and that didn't help. It is two weeks later and I still can't use IE. I
even tried to contact Microsoft Tech Support but I can't sign up for their stupid Passport service
because it wants to take me through Internet Explorer. I'm pretty much stuck.
WHAT IS GOING ON?!
