printing items in Windows Update Troubleshooter

Can someone at MS explain why the expanded contents of
the individual items in the Troubleshooter can't be
printed (so that users can go back to their problem with
a possible solution on paper in front of them)? Even
when I highlight the text, then copy/paste onto a Word
document, it doesn't show up intact. I've decided MS
gets pleasure out of maximizing inconvenience to its
customers.
