Cuurent doc type can't be sent as mail- help!

I am NOT very technical, but need help! I installed the latest Critical Updt for IE6 SP1 & Cumulative Security Update for Outlook Exp6 SP on Monday. I am running Win98SE & use Outlook. Now I can not send myself a webpage as before. I get "Current document type can't be sent as mail." and something about do I want to send a shortcut instead. What the heck do I have to do so I can send webpages as before- I keep them for research purposes. Thanks for any help!
