That makes three of us that hit identical circumstances.
Does anyone recall the name that NAV detected? I removed and reinstalled NAV and lost my logs before I wrote it down.

This by the way, is EXACTLY as it happened to me as well. I was running Norton AV and got hit with a virus file warning. Norton was unable to access the file that it claimed had the virus and from that point nothing script related has worked on my machine. I've tried nearly everything but format and reinstall (still an option!).

As near as I can tell, all script and ActiveX based sites are failing. I uninstalled Norton as it was completely useless after this hit. I have also noticed web page hijacking so I think this is a new virus of some sort.

I just got this same message a few minutes ago. It occurred after I got hit with an Norton Antivirus Warning about a web page containing a virus. Norton AV has got an error message occuring when I try to run it and running MS Windows Update I get this 0x800A1391. Scripting does not appear to be working, I've tried updating the script version with no success.
