Adminstrator Only error with strange ActiveX Control errors
Date: Sat, 27 Mar 2004 11:16:07 -0800
When I start up Windows Update, It says "Checking for latest version of software" etc. Then a window appears saying:
Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly.
After clicking OK, it takes me to the Administrator Only page. Shortly after, the dialog appears again.
System:
Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 1
Internet Explorer 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633 + SP1, Q832894, Q330994
Windowx XP Hotfix: KB810217, KB823182, KB824105, KB824141, KB824146, KB825119, KB826939, KB828028, KB828035, (SP2) Q811114, (SP2) Q819696
(Additional info available upon request.)
As you can see, I've been able to use it before. But now, it isn't working :( .
