Need more info. Do other USB devices work properly? What errors are you
seeing? Do you have local admin rights on your PC, assuming NT/2k/XP? Are
you sure you're using the latest software/driver bundle for your OS?

Also - this is a Windows Update group. Post your q to one meant for your
operating system for best results.
