Did you try the troubleshooter?

Did you try Google Groups?
Another case that the troubleshooter still doesn't mention under this code
is either creating directories in or writing to a mapped network drive where
you don't have permission to do those things. You can find that case
described under a different error code in the troubleshooter by doing a find
with the word mapped
