Have virus and can't get patches

I have the lovsan virus on this computer and every time I
try to get the critical updates I get a notice that I 9
of the critical updates will not install and to try
again. I have tried over and over. I have even tried to
download and install the necessary KB824146 patch and the
error message when I try to run it from the desktop is:
Set up could not verify integrity of file Update.inf.
Make sure the Cryptographic service is running on this
computer."
Any ideas what is going on? How do I get this patch
installed? I need it desperately to get rid of the lovsan
virus!
