Install failed; does no longer appear in suggested updates list

Hi !

I'm on win 98se.

I went to windows update today and displayed the installation history. I
noticed that security updates 818696 and 823559 are marked as "Failed".
This is strange because I can't remember seeing a message notifying me of an
installation error on my last visits..

If I ask for the list of updates to install, they are not listed (the only
one sugegsted is 824145). How do I proceed to get these security patches ?
Repair ? Download them from the catalogue ? Use a cumulative patch (which
one) ?
