Remote printers disappear after ntfs error..????

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Dear all,

At a client we have a huge problem with the Windows 2003 R2 Enterprise
(Terminal) Server. They connect from about 8 different locations. Usually in
the morning it all works.

Then we see a ntfs-error in the event viewer and after that the remote
printer just disappear one by one. Not for all users. Newly logged in users
do not get their mapped printers. If one logges of and on again they don not
get their printer.

We did a check on de disks and array controler, but no errors are to be
found (three disks in a RAID5)

All we can do is reboot the server..a restart of the spooler doesn't help.

Has anyone got any idea...???
