Re: RD, logging back in loads new desktop instead of old session

Didn't see anything checked. Is this something I should put in and set the
timeout really high, say 6 hours or something. Just odd that it used to work
fine and now doesn't.

the connection, log back on hours later and the desktop of the server would
be right where I left it, either with whatever process I had running at the
time still running or completed waiting for me to close it.
Now if I try to log back on even 10 minutes later it loads up a new desktop
and whatever process I had running is gone.
Any ideas what is happening here and why I can't just log back in to the
previous session?
Someone probably set a time out on the RDP-tcp listener.
Run TSCC.MSC on the box and go to RDP-tcp. Double click it.
Under 'Sessions' check the timeouts for disconnected sessions, idle and
active. That could be the issue.
