TS domain logon extremely slow or not at all

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Hi Guys,

I have a TS with 2003 SP2 as a member server of an SBS2003 domain.

When users log onto the server, the logon stops at 'Applying your personal
settings' and hangs. It can then take over an hour for the user to
eventually log on.

A local user logs onto the machine within seconds.

I have some users using roaming profiles with their mydocs/desktop
redirected using GPO but I am testing using users without roaming profiles.

I was going to rebuild the TS until I discovered that some of the
workstations on the network are now experiencing the same problem.

A reboot fixes the issue temporarily. Both workstations and the terminal
server are all using only the SBS server as DNS.

Can anyone suggest anthing that it can be done? Any help can be appreciated.

I have enabled user environment logging but am not
.
