Re: Client unable to license

TP,

I am terribly sorry. I just found out that no one is redirecting print jobs
at this time. It was working before however.

Any ideas?

I don't know the version of RDP on the client.

The printers is checked on the client and on the server.

Other clients are redirecting printers fine.

The server is 2003 R2 SP2.

The spooler is running.

Thanks,

Rusty

Hello again,

What Remote Desktop Client version are you running on
the client machine?

When connecting, is Printers checked on the Local Resources
tab of the Remote Desktop Client?

What operating system version are you running on your TS?

Are *any* of the local printers being auto-created on the
server when connecting from this machine?

Has windows printer mapping been disabled on the server
and/or on the properties of the user and/or via Group Policy?

Is the Print Spooler service currently running on the server as
well as the client machine?

Thanks.

TP,

In fact since I wrote this, I was able to get the client to license.
However, still no printer redirection. No errors other than "MRxSMB
3019 - Redirector failed to determine connection type". Microsfts
Web site says that this is an informational event and should be
ignored. I uninstalled the print driver from the server and
reinstalled without success. Wouldn't that finish a purge? The
server has also been rebooted.

Thanks,

Rusty
